Computational Approach in Psychology

In the stream of Psychology, the contribution of the computational approach is the discipline which lies between artificial intelligence and psychology. According to researchers it is the building of computer models of human cognitive process and is based on an analogy between human mind and computer programs. Computational models are mostly based on theories. They are mostly focused in how human performance comes about, by what psychological mechanisms, processes, and knowledge structures and in what ways exactly.
