Biography

Michelle Villani have served as a School Counselor in the New Jersey public schools for 6 years.She is presently enrolled in the Doctor of Psychology in Counseling Psychology program at the College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, New Jersey. She completed her Masters degree in Counseling Psychology at the College of Saint Elizabeth as well as my certification as a New Jersey School Counselor in 2008.She received her Bachelors degree in Psychology, Cum Laude, from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2005.She have presented at a number of conferences ,I have also presented on a panel regarding “Stigma and OCD” at the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation Annual conferences. she will be presenting at the International Child Psychology & Adolescent Medicine conference in London on "Person Centered Therapy with siblings of children with cancer" as well "Person Centered Therapy with victims of domestic violence and human trafficking" at the Person Centered Experiential conference at Columbia University. She is a member of the Morris County Psychological Association, an affiliate of the New Jersey Psychological Association; the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, the New Jersey Obsessive Compulsive Foundation, the Society for Pediatric Psychology, and the Society of Counseling Psychology, divisions of the American Psychological Association. My orientation to therapy relates mostly to a combination of person-centered and cognitive behavioral although she use different styles based on clients' presenting problems.
